About this lesson

Reflecting decades of work, Herman students Anna Racicot and Gabrielle Herbertson organized, edited and compiled two books containing hundreds of Herman’s lessons. The books, Earth Journey I and Earth Journey II, are the source of most of the weekly lessons published on this site.
Each of the books contains more than 100 photos of Herman’s paintings, an introduction detailing the history and suggested use of the lessons, and an appendix that contains additional information about the communities practices.
Both books are available for sale through the Earth Journey organization’s online store.
A Herman Rednick Lesson
The Christ is a point of sacrificial fire held in the mind of God. He said, “I and the father are one.” (Jn10:30) That explains his unity. We are trying to become like him. As we draw close to the holy center, the only thing we lose is our personality. Nothing is really lost. We move into a greater freedom, and the light and power we receive is used to serve everyone we meet. There is no I or thou. We become one on a higher level.
