About this lesson

Reflecting decades of work, Herman students Anna Racicot and Gabrielle Herbertson organized, edited and compiled two books containing hundreds of Herman’s lessons. The books, Earth Journey I and Earth Journey II, are the source of most of the weekly lessons published on this site.
Each of the books contains more than 100 photos of Herman’s paintings, an introduction detailing the history and suggested use of the lessons, and an appendix that contains additional information about the communities practices.
Both books are available for sale through the Earth Journey organization’s online store.
A Herman Rednick Lesson
The mysteries have been expressed in mythology and symbol. The Egyptians talked about the incarnation of the god Osiris and the Greeks wrote about the incarnation of the god Hermes. The Bible also said, “In the beginning was the Word and the Word was God, and was made flesh and dwelt among us.”*
The Christ, that being of great compassion, over- shadowed the form of Jesus. Through this method Christ could be aware of his tie with the Lord of the World and not be affected by maya. Those who follow in the path of the Christ shall become focal points for this holy fire and share in a great plan for humanity.
- Jn 1:1 “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”
Jn 1:14 “And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.”
