About this lesson
Reflecting decades of work, Herman students Anna Racicot and Gabrielle Herbertson organized, edited and compiled two books containing hundreds of Herman’s lessons. The books, Earth Journey I and Earth Journey II, are the source of most of the weekly lessons published on this site.
Each of the books contains more than 100 photos of Herman’s paintings, an introduction detailing the history and suggested use of the lessons, and an appendix that contains additional information about the communities practices.
Both books are available for sale through the Earth Journey organization’s online store.
A Herman Rednick Lesson
Your focus is a point of light, a creative force that moves you in your life and work. It is nourished by your faith and love. Negative thoughtforms shall not impinge on your heart and mind.
There are two main forces sweeping through man- kind and nature. One is creative and one is destructive. Both are necessary on the physical plane. As long as your focus is strong, the destructive currents shall sweep by. When the focus is lost, you are open to the destructive forces and disintegration sets in. Thus the importance of a spiritual life and a focus on the Christ.
