Mantras given with recent Lessons
Mantras
With few exceptions, lessons that Herman gave were accompanied with a mantra. A common term for mantra is a “mind hook.” When asked about how to dealwith difficult thoughts and situations, Herman once said that you can’t solve the problem straight on — by fighting with it. Instead he suggested that one “turn aside” from the problem with a mantra. When used correctly, the diversion to the mantra allows the mind to settle, and opens the door to an intuitive solution. These pages provide an alphabetical listing of the mantras associated with recent weekly lessons, a link to the lesson, and its first sentence.
