THE WORK
Doing "The Work"
MAKE CHRIST A LIVING REALITY
We had a meditation a few weeks ago that Christ was everywhere present. You believed it, but that is not enough. When I said, “The avatar is here now,” there was some confusion.
To make use of this mantra, “The Christ is everywhere,” is to visualize him before you. You must see him with you all day. You will attract a vibration through the image. This will give you a sense of security. That Christ is present will become more than a poetic statement. It will be a living reality and the greatest spiritual force in your life.
My life is the love and light of the Christ. I work for the Christ.
MEDITATION WITH THE CHRIST
I start a meditation and focus on the presence of the Christ. The room is filled with peace. My heart glows. I start with my breathing to quiet the body and mind, then go to the Great Invocation, and the list for healing. I enfold each one with compassion. I have another list of people who disturbed me. I change the thoughtform by enfolding each one with love. The negative psychic forms fade away. My body and mind are filled with a new rhythm.
Mantra:
I become free when I focus on the Christ.
MY BELOVED
A divine yoga has been given to humanity. It is through the positive and negative streams of spiritual force when united by man and woman through deep love and devotion. This gives them the potential to fly to the spiritual heights.
To meet emotionally and physically is a step toward union. When the mind blends in purpose and direction it is better. But when the love is deep and man and woman see divinity in each other, they move beyond union to a plane of synthesis and a spiritual plane of light. This calls down the holy fire, and man and woman become one being and move to the most sacred places in the higher worlds. This is the yoga for the New Age. Thus the spiritual radiance of the beloved shall light up the world.
Mantra:
I see divintiy in my beloved.
We become one light moving toward God.
PRAY WITHOUT CEASING
It is written, “Pray without ceasing.”* What does this mean? Should you sit all day and chant and concentrate?
When you are loving and extend your hand to a friend, you are in a state of meditation. When you see all your problems as opportunities on the path, you are pray- ing. When you take your food with gratitude and receive every person as the Christ, your channel is open and you are reaching for the temple. When you are focused on the Christ with love, you are living creatively and walking toward Shamballa.
Mantra:
I live a creative, spiritual life when I am focused with love on the Christ.
